Membership
The members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority are its most valuable asset. They are 125,000 predominantly black, educated women, collegiate and graduate, who are active in over 800 chapters throughout the United States, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia. The sorority includes women with baccalaureate, master, doctoral, and professional degrees in the fields of education, law, public administration, government, medicine and health, engineering, the fine and performing arts, corporate management, and the physical and social sciences. Zeta women are achievers and many of them have set benchmarks or standards of excellence in their chosen fields for African-Americans and women. Members benefit from well-defined networking and support systems within the sorority that offer international linkages. They also have opportunities to exercise their leadership potential or utilize numerous other talents and skills within the sorority and the community. But, perhaps the greatest rewards for members are the diverse opportunities to render voluntary service in communities nationwide. The lives of many are indeed touched by the collective efforts of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
